AI Trust Scanner
How trustworthy is your store — to humans, and to AI?
AI Trust Scanner is an automated trust audit for online stores: it crawls the homepage, product pages, category pages and policy documents, and generates a verifiable score from 0 to 100.
The analysis covers 29 signals across 8 categories: reviews and reputation, AI readiness, UX, business transparency, SEO and authority, product credibility, social proof and technical trust. The methodology (v2.0) is public, so a score can be checked — not just taken on faith.
Unlike a static certificate, the badge is live: it updates as the score changes, and can be revoked if the store no longer qualifies. The point is simple: a score nobody can verify is just a JPEG.
What you get.
29 trust signals
Across 8 categories, from reviews to technical trust.
Live badge
Embeddable badge that updates with the current score — and can be revoked.
Public methodology
The scoring model (v2.0) is published and verifiable.
AI readiness
Dedicated category for how well the store can be read and cited by AI agents.
How it’s built.
A headless Playwright crawler fetches the homepage, product pages and policy documents, which are then scored against 29 signals by an LLM-based evaluation engine. Results are stored in PostgreSQL and exposed as a live, embeddable badge.
What people ask.
Can my score go back down after I fix things?
Yes — that's the point. The badge is live and always reflects current status, not a one-time measurement. If trust signals decline, the score and badge decline with them.
What does "AI readiness" mean as a trust category?
It measures whether content, pricing and terms can actually be read and understood by AI agents and AI search — structured data, plain-text content and machine-readable pricing, not just what is readable to a human eye.
